Toddler in Training

Now that Harper is a year old, he is quickly learning the ropes of what it means to be a toddler.

Case in point #1: Busy Bee

Case in point #2: The "stink-eye"

Case in point #3: Silly expressions

Fun qualities of a young toddler:
  • easier communication & more words
  • sharing signs of affection
  • active interaction
Not as fun qualities of a young toddler:
  • attitude
  • tantrums
  • teething
Harper had his 12 month check up last week, and we can happily say he's a healthy, on-par, growing boy. He has transitioned to all table foods and whole milk. He still loves books and balls and will push anything around the house that moves. He's constantly rearranging the furniture and opening and closing his dresser drawers and door (sometimes pinching his fingers in the process). He sleeps through the night and often wakes up around 6am still tired but unwilling to go back to sleep. He continues to show his personality and even has a little sass.

Harper's 12 month stats:
Weight: 21 lbs. 12 oz. (32 %-tile)
Height: 31 inches (83 %-tile)
Head Circumference: 18 inches (29 %-tile)
