I'm sitting here rocking Harper to sleep while finishing up my very interesting lunch...
First course: baguette with olive bruschetta topping
Second course: cheddar bratwurst
Third course: peanut butter cup ice cream
When the little guy's in hand, I usually just eat whatever I see first that looks good and is easy. Even so, this is an unacceptable meal. I think we might just venture out on this rainy day and get some groceries.
Well, Harper's nap lasted through 3/4 of our run to Target...then he filled his pants and wasn't happy until we were home and he was clean and eating. Tomorrow's lunch should be much better. I got stuff to make salads and sandwiches and fruit for dessert. I had a coupon for a $2 frappachino, but their espresso machine was down. :( That would have been a nice treat. Next nap I might have to make a caramel latte just because of how much I was looking forward to that.
Yesterday, Harper and I took a trip to Peapods to check out more cloth diapers. They have the largest supply yet! We bought one Soft Bums diaper to try (they are made in MN!) and found a couple Fuzzi Bunz online and on sale though another MN company. I am enjoying cloth diapering, and I don't think Josh minds it either! Oh, and a great thing about Peapods is their selection of wooden toys. I can't wait until Harper is old enough for a train and track system and all the other wonderful toys the have there. It's nice to see stores go back to carrying toys that last forever instead of just all the plastic, battery operated toys that look old or die before too long.
