Behind her name: Wren is after the songbird in honor of Alyssa's Grandpa and Grandma Kontak who were enthusiastic bird lovers, watchers, and photographers. It also happens to be Grandma K's favorite bird. Alyssa has dreamt of having a Wren for a long time and is glad Josh grew to love it too. Margueritte was Alyssa's maternal Grandma's first name. Gma Margueritte passed on many skills and talents to Alyssa's mom who passed them on to Alyssa, and now Alyssa hopes to pass them on to Wren.
