Since our big Fourth of July celebration was on the 3rd, the 4th ended up being a lazy day to just spend time together. Amma walked over to the park with us after breakfast for Harper to have some time on the playground. It's pretty amazing how far he's come with walking and climbing already. Other than trying to climb slides, Harper does pretty well on his own climbing up the platform steps and crossing bridges and such. Even so, we're still right beside or behind him just in case his judgement isn't all there.

Brea and I took off for a little shopping trip at an outlet mall and scored a couple deals at Banana Republic and Carters. I bought Harper some sunglasses, but he has yet to keep them on for more than a second. At least he is used to his sunhat.
Later that evening, Josh's grandma took all of us out for dinner at the Outback Steakhouse. Everyone was a little worried how a 1, 3, and 5 year-old would do at a restaurant, but we were all pleasantly surprised and enjoyed a fun family meal.
