Too nice to stay inside

Josh came home a little early yesterday giving us just enough time to walk around Lake Calhoun before sunset. The air was crisp, but the sun was shining, and it was above 30 degrees. We have spring fever now and can't wait to spend more time outdoors. After our walk, we headed home to a pot of vegetarian chili (now my favorite chili recipe!) and cornbread. It was grand.

MMMM! I just made a pot of vegetarian chili, too.

Isn't it heavenly to be outside in the sunshine?

I cannot wait to go for walks with you and Harper this spring!!

Also, what chili recipe? That sounds great :) (It's on my menu for Tuesday, but I'm always up for a new recipe!)

It is heavenly to have warmer weather and sunshine! Katie- how about a walk this Thursday morning? I'll get the recipe to you via email. It makes a TON, so it's great for freezing leftovers.

Mmm...your chili is very good!

Charlie and I went for a walk on Sunday also. I don't think he's been outside for more than 5 minutes since October! He loved it! We'll have to plan some outdoor playdates this summer (we have a splash pool just a block from our house!)

That sounds great! It'd be super fun to have some wading pool dates. There's also a really nice looking one south of church we should check out.
