Kids sure make Halloween fun. I finished sewing Harper's costume at 3:30pm today. It took longer than expected to sew on all those ribbon loops. And even though Harper only wore the costume not even two hours, it was totally worth it. We headed over to our church parking lot for "Trunk-or-Treat" where people decorated the trunks of their cars and handed out candy. Lots of kids showed up, and Harper was especially drawn to all the pumpkins, a dancing/singing tree, animated broomsticks, and a couple of puppies. His candy of choice? Milk duds. Too bad he can't eat them...but mommy and daddy can!

Alyssa, this costume is absolutely adorable. I've been showing it off to my friends, and they are amazed at your talent. And that little boy looks so cute!
