Rewind then fast-forward

It took longer than I expected to get through our Colorado Vacation, but I guess that shows we had a fabulous time with lots of great photos! In an effort to catch up from the past month, here are some photos and brief descriptions to keep you up to date on where we've been and what we've been doing:

In July, Harper and I headed to Decorah along with the Koch twins for a weekend with Allison and Dan in their new home. It had been way too long since I last saw Al, so it was great to have this time to catch up and spend time together. Al and Dan are expecting their first baby later this year, and I can't wait to meet him/her! We had lunch at a wonderful little cafe, some cool treats from the Whippy Dip, and a tasty homemade dinner that evening. Harper enjoyed playing with their two dogs, climbing up on their window ledge, and throwing anything he could get his hands on down their stairwell. He's definitely all boy.

The end of July took us to Fish Lake for Luke and Melissa's wedding. Luke is one of Josh's all-time best friends. Josh was one of Luke's groomsmen. Harper came with us to the rehearsal, but I was happy to leave him with his Papa and Grammy for the ceremony and reception so I didn't have to chase him around all night. Their wedding was a lovely outdoor wedding decorated with many handmade items and wild flowers. Besides the happy couple, other memorable outtakes included a yummy BBQ dinner and live Bluegrass band.

My parents bought a package of St. Paul Saints tickets earlier in the year, so we picked a date and joined them for a day at the ballpark. The weather was perfect and not as hot as previous weekends. We hung out in the bleachers in left field and had a grand time cheering on the Saints with root beer and frozen lemonade in hand.

Uncle Trevor enjoying the game.

Uncle Ryan ready to catch that foul home run hit. (We really were out that far.)

Harper with his new Saints shirt daddy bought him. It's a size 2T, so we're hoping it will fit him next summer too. His eye was pretty swollen this day from a mosquito bite, but it is almost back to normal.
