OBAMA RALLY

Josh and I headed downtown St. Paul with our friend Corynn and by chance met up with our friend Lloyd in a crowd of 30,000 people to see Barack Obama speak at a rally at the Excel Energy Center. It was there that Obama declared that he is now the democratic nominee for the President of the United States! What a night! We clapped, waved signs, yelled, screamed, whistled, chanted "Yes we can!," and listened to this amazing man address St. Paul along with the rest of the world. I hope come November, we can say we've heard and seen the President of the United States.

As Barack and Michelle were leaving the arena, Josh was positioned just above the exit and looking Barack in the eyes, he pointed to him and said, "We love you Barack!" Barack pointed back and smiled! It was an amazing experience to be in such a large crowd of Americans all cheering for the same thing: CHANGE. And that change can start with Barack Obama!
